DeKalb County State Representative Mike Jacobs wanted to find out who was stealing yard signs from the yards of his supporters. So he worked with constituents along North Druid Hills Road to set up security cameras at three separate locations.
This morning at 5am, the cameras caught the culprit. If you recognize the individual, Rep. Jacobs is asking you to send him a note at repjacobs@comcast.net.

Hi Tech service station [Gas 'n' Gulp zombie film location], corner of E Ponce & N Candler is closed with entrances roped off. Looks like everything has been moved out. Amusing note on the pumps.
Now does that mean it’s permanently closed? Well, you’ll just have to determine that for yourself as I’m not going to assume anything about business closings anymore!
I’ll say that when I drove by the other day, I recall thinking, “It looks like they’re still stripping the place”, but there was still action going on in the garage bays, so I just chalked it up to modifications or something.
UPDATE: The AJC is reporting that DeKalb Police already have one suspect in custody and they are looking for a second suspect.
Just received a report that an armored truck was robbed outside of the receiving dock at DeKalb Medical. According to the report, the incident was restricted to outside the building and no one was injured or taken hostage.
DeKalb County Police are investigating.
