Report: Google Streetview Driving Around Decatur Today
Decatur Metro | July 1, 2014 | 2:46 pmNot much going on this afternoon? Why not dust off that old Halloween costume and go out on the curb a smoke a big ol’ cigar so you can “be famous” in weird Streetview circles?
Marc writes in that the Google Streetview car was spotted on Coventry Road around 1pm today. Anyone else see the car?

Wife saw it the other day on Scott.
The unpleasant result of my jaywalking.
Hah!
There’s a website called 9 Eyes that shows some very odd street view shots. Just Google “9 Eyes”.
Saw the Bing car in Winnona Park one morning a few weeks ago. It made a U-turn in front of my house.
I also saw the Bing car turning onto Kirk several weeks back. I just checked and the Bing street view doesn’t have neighborhood streets (yet) but Candler is recently updated (Valarie Wilson signs in yards).
Bing. Oh Microsoft, you try so hard. One of these days, you’ll make something other than Windows that people actually want to buy.
I’m one of the 16 or so people who bought a Zune MP3 player a few years ago. It still works great, but I’m not surprised it was ignored in favor of the iPod.
At the time, I chose it over the iPod because of Apple’s very restrictive DRM rules. The Zune was more open to sharing files, and the interface was more intuitive than iTunes.
What is the lag between the camera car and new pictures on Google?
Saw it pass The Imperial and turn left on Mead during Argentina-Switzerland match. Go USA!!!
Saw it turning west on W. Ponce from Commerce today around 1pm.
My kids love a good photo-bomb, and I wondered if “photo-bombing streetview” was a thing.
They thought the idea was brilliant, and we were being original…oh well.
We’ll have to check out the 9 eyes site. Any others out there for interesting things captured on Google maps?
I saw it turn onto W Howard yesterday from Lenox Place.
A couple other sites I just saw are: (warning: don’t look at work)
