Wow, very great interview. Recently I came to the realization that innovation is essentially illegal now. Between Building Code, Zoning, Permitting, Compliance, Certification and general regulation it is not possible to legally build any structure on your own property that does not meet current building guidelines … what a shame.
We do not actually own our property anymore, we merely lease it form the government.
Between property taxes (making sure that everyone pays “their fair share”) code, permitting and zoning, yes, we hold title but are prohibited from doing anything regarding our “property” without permission and approval of government.
Anyway, fascinating interview and a beautiful home, thanks for sharing that
