There was a lost dog sign outside my neighborhood at Oak Grove and La Vista with a substantial reward. It was a white dog, but I don’t recall if it looked like this one. The sign was on a post on the corner with the Walgreen’s on it.
I believe that this dog may be a Coton de Tulear. PLease take it to a local vet and have it scanned for a microchip. if it is a Coton, there are only a handful of breeders, and thus most likely will be chipped.
About 6 weeks ago (probably more), a man was posting signs for his little white dog on the corner of Briarcliff and Briarcliff Way (block north of Cravey). But I can’t imagine how this tiny one would survive that long; thinking it must belong to someone else.
I’m not sure if the sign is still there. But I agree that this dog looked too good for having been on his own for 6 weeks (seriously could have been a good bit longer). Wouldn’t hurt to have your sister in law check, though.

That dog is so cute, it is almost a cliche.
That is one super cute dog! I hope s/he is reunited with family soon!

Had him scanned this evening and, alas, no chip. Will check the signs near Oak Grove in the morning.
What will happen to him if owner isn’t found?
I’m guessing he’ll fare better than the wild turkey.
My kids have already named him, made a bed for him, and have promised to clean up after him, so it’s looking like he may stay……
I kept expecting to see a baby water buffalo picture on DM yesterday.
This makes me very happy! Sad for the dog’s current owners, but happy he’ll be in a great place with your family if said owners aren’t found!

Any idea if they are still there? My sister-in-law lives over that way and I could have her check.
Odds are this isn’t the same dog, he was definitely not out on his own for 6 weeks.
