Decatur CD/Sugarland Dispute Goes to Chi-Town

The Chicago Tribune is the latest news agency to pick up Sugarland story.  Apparently Decatur CD has touched a nerve that stretches far beyond the city limits.

How much farther can it go?

I’m hoping it’ll escalate to the point were Wal-Mart feels compelled to say something.  I’m drooling with anticipation for a Decatur vs. Wal-Mart death-match.

    Hmmmm. Probably gonna hope in vain, there, DM. The Bentonville Behemoth will likely just cock one mammoth eyebrow, snort, then turn its ponderous back on the whole kerfuffle, slouching roughly toward Bethlehem. The gallant little ant that is Decatur CD may huff & puff in (justifiable) righteous indignation, but the House of Walton won’t go down, and Sugarland will sell loads of discs in WallyWorlds across the nation.
