Tickets are pricey or we’d be there this weekend. I still regret that I never got to see Agassi play live.

Try midweek next year, it was $38 for a couple of matches. I couldn’t believe how good even the “worst” seat was.

Misha, have you read Agassi’s memoir? It’s good. Try it.

I sure have. He got a great ghostwriter (and gave him the credit he deserved in the acknowledgments). I followed Agassi’s career from age 19 (I was 15) right up through his retirement match. Every year when the Grand Slam tournaments roll around, I get a bit sad that I won’t be able to watch him play anymore. I hope he does commentating eventually.

And yes, JoeBlow, American tennis is not in a great state right now. I wouldn’t envy anyone trying to have a pro career in the Federer/Nadal era.

      Great photo.

What is this “court” in the picture? Is this some sort of rich person’s game that I need to learn now that I live in the actual, not just Postal, Decatur?

        Not your best work.

Still lamenting the state of American Men’s tennis. An Isner/Roddick matchup is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Zero artistry. Just a couple of service and baseline sluggers.

Bah. At least it’s good to know that I do have some “best work”!

‘Tis the “court” of Corona. Here’s how you play:

Buy. Chill. Pop cap. Add lime. Drink. Ahhhh!

You had me until “Add lime”. If God intended for there to be citrus in beer he would have put it there himself!

…uh oh. Please don’t tell me God’s responsible for Bud Light Lime…

We’re NEVER in town for this. The Tennis Academy circuit is killing American tennis.

Not familiar with this…What’s the Tennis Academy circuit?
