Waffle House Museum Open Free to Public Tomorrow
Decatur Metro | October 24, 2008UPDATE: Fellow Decatur blogger Rusty Tanton alerts us that he’s got pics and a real interesting report from the Waffle Open House. Thanks Rusty!
The AJC reports that the very first Waffle House on E. College, which has been converted into a museum by the company, will be open and free to the public tomorrow from 10a-6p.
Let me just go on record to say that this whole restoration is very cool. A little bit of lost local history has been restored.
I wonder how many people will now pull up for a bite, only to realize its a private museum with no real waffles.
