Just a heads-up for next year. My wife and I came late, around 3pm, and after our tickets were scanned and wrist-bands applied, the Decatur Police informed us that no infants were allowed. Though it probably is in his genes to have an underage drink or two, I don’t think our 12 week old sleeping in one of those horribly complex mobius strip-like contraptions on his mom’s chest was going to cause too much trouble just yet.. Anyways, the point is that when they say no-one under 21, they really mean it!
It’s not that the baby will drink but what if mommy has a bit too much, she can hurt herself & child as well plus the event insurance may require no one under 21 to enter. Have to think about what happens behind the scenes.
Oh My! I had so much fun at the wine fest. Hope you did, too. And the Shadowboxers are a band to watch. Congrats to Angie, Jackie, and all the Arts Alliance volunteers.
