Wow, Watershed getting a new location AND a mascot. Great double post.

I thought the same thing. Maybe the mascot should be called “Duck ‘n Run” or Duck Outta Town!”

          Duck ‘n Run to Buck

Is it me, or does that feel like betrayal ? I cry foul (fowl).

Then again, win some, lose some. On the whole, between Watersheed and Cakes & Ale, I’ll take Cakes and Ale any day of the week. They’ve done an outstanding job so far, and I love what they’ve done along Commerce. They took a brick wall and converted it into an attractive, pedestrian-friendly front. Bravo, Cakes & Ale.

Ergo, it’s nice to wash down the Watershed betrayal with cakes and ale.

After making the mistake of wading through the comments at WNA (NOT the Watershed article), I want to thank you DM for not allowing the vile, moronic, racist garbage to be spewed here that is prevalent on other local sites. One day I will learn to avoid the comments section when I click away from these friendly confines.

        What is WNA?

Only if we can do it with the mallard mascot.
