    2015 Decatur Wine Festival Tickets Now On Sale!

    Tickets for the 2015 Decatur Wine Festival tickets are now on sale!  A bit o’ info for ya…

    Here is the best opportunity to taste over 300 wines, sample great food from Decatur-area restaurants, and enjoy live music at metro Atlanta’s largest outdoor wine festival. Proceeds benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance, which produces the Decatur Arts Festival, YEA!, The Decatur Artway, The Book As Art and many arts events, free to the community each year.

    Saturday, November 7, 2015
    Hours: 12:30-4:30 p.m.
    On the square in Downtown Decatur • Rain or Shine

    Tickets are $40 each are available at TicketAlternative.

    Tickets Still Available for Decatur Wine Festival This Saturday

    Tickets for this year’s Decatur Wine Festival are still available on TicketAlternative for $40 a pop.

    This year’s fest features nearly 500 wines to taste over 5 hours from 12:30 – 4:30p this Saturday, November 8th.  You can peruse the wine list over on the their website and they’ve included asterisks next to the ‘must try’ wines.

    The purveyors of free food this year is particularly interesting with offerings from the following:

    • Harbor House Bar
    • Siam Thai
    • Parker’s
    • Sobban
    • Souper Jenny
    • Makan
    • Jeni’s Ice Cream

    Proceeds from the event benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance.

    Decatur Wine Festival Sold Out & Other Decatur Arts Alliance Weekend Announcements

    The wine festival has sold out :)  The Decatur Arts Alliance would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support of the arts through this event.

    The Decatur Makers will be on hand at the wine festival tomorrow building an awesome wine bottle sculpture on the plaza. This project is sponsored by The Imperial in Oakhurst.

    The festival kicks off tonight with an Artwalk featuring 17 retailers/galleries/retailers–this evening is free and open to the public.

    Decatur Wine Festival Wine List Now Available

    We just received this announcement…

    Angie Macon, executive director of the Decatur Arts Alliance, announces that the wine list / program is now posted on the Decatur Wine Festival website so you can plan your tastings this Saturday at the event (http://decaturwinefestival.org). And, if you still have not bought your tickets, hurry! There are still some for sale online at TicketAlternative.com (http://www.ticketalternative.com/Events/19991.aspx). She adds, “We look forward to seeing our fellow wine lovers and supporters of the arts for a beautiful Saturday afternoon on the square in downtown Decatur. If you need any more incentive, remember that the Decatur Wine Festival is a fund-raising event that helps bring arts events to the community.”

    2012 Decatur Wine Festival Tickets Now on Sale

    Catherine announces over on The Decatur Minute that Decatur Wine Festival tickets are now on sale at Ticket Alternative for $35 a piece.  This year’s fest will take place on the Square in Decatur on November 3rd from 1-4pm.

    In related news, Decatur Beer Festival tickets go on sale this coming Monday, Sept 17th at noon.  I’ll post a reminder that morning and we’ll see how fast they go this year!

    Decatur Raffling Off Free Beer/Wine Fest Tickets REALLY Early Tomorrow Morning

    Newsflash: We are raffling off (2) Decatur Craft Beer Festival Tickets and (2) Decatur Wine Festival tickets at 4:45am tomorrow morning on the Square. Come out, find the City staff, and ask for your raffle ticket. We are doing the drawing at 4:45am and you could be the very first ticket holder to those events. Stick around as 11 Alive shoots their morning program and show all of Atlanta why Decatur is Greater!
