When the live-action series Andor premiered during the autumn of 2022, it introduced us to several significant individuals in Cassian Andor’s life. These included his close acquaintances Maarva, Bix, Brasso, Wilmon, and his droid B2EMO. We also met key figures in the nascent rebellion such as Luthen Rael and his aide Kleya, as well as members of the Aldhani team, Vel and Cinta. The show didn’t shy away from depicting the Empire’s side either, showcasing Imperial officers and allies like ISB Lieutenant Dedra Meero, Major Partagaz, and Syril Karn.
Many of these characters have continued their journey into Andor Season 2, which kicked off with the first three episodes on April 22. As the final season progresses through its 12 episodes, a looming question becomes increasingly central:

What Happens to These Characters in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?
Specifically, what circumstances lead to their absence or lack of mention in Rogue One, the film that Andor precedes?
In the early episodes of Season 2, we have already witnessed the tragic death of Brasso, a dear friend of Cassian from Ferrix, who was killed by stormtroopers. This occurred as the ISB intensified their operations on Mina-Rau, a rural planet where he, along with Bix and Wilmon, had been hiding. However, the rest of the characters mentioned earlier will survive at least until the fourth episode of this season.
Notably, actors such as Diego Luna (Cassian), Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma), Forest Whitaker (Saw Gererra), and Ben Mendelsohn (Orson Krennic) appear in both Andor Season 2 and Rogue One. They’re safe for now, and we can expect to see them for a while longer. Later in the season, we are also set to meet other characters who appear in both series, including Alistair Petrie’s General Draven and K-2SO, the Imperial droid voiced by Alan Tudyk.
Which characters that are missing in Rogue One do you think might not survive Andor Season 2?
And who do you think might survive the series, yet for various reasons, doesn’t appear or get mentioned in Rogue One?
Feel free to share your thoughts below (you can choose up to three characters), and keep watching Andor Season 2 on Disney+ to see if your guesses are right. Rest assured, not all of these characters will meet their end in this season.
