If you need some great entertainment this afternoon push the strollers over to the high school at 5:30p. Their homecoming parade begins in the high school parking lot on Commerce and will be complete with homemade floats, class kings and queens, and cheerleaders. The kids will love it!
If you haven’t made it to a Decatur High football game – tonight is a good night break the seal. It’s expected to be a great football game against Greater Atlanta Christian and a packed house in the brand new, beautiful stadium.
Tickets are [$7] at the gate.
Are tickets really $5? I’ve been paying $7 this year. Maybe I’ve been getting the “friend of Naaman Gibbetts” reverse discount?

I’m so sorry about the mis-information! I got the ticket price confused with the theater tickets.
Football tickets are $7.
The parade does take off at 5:30. Students assemble for the parade at 5:00.
What route does the parade follow?
I’ll make sure I have my $7 with me. Plus an extra $5 if I want to head to the theater afterward.
Last night the principal said they will head out of the parking lot on Commerce and then right on Trinity. The remainder of the route was explained through hand gestures so I’d hate to try and translate!
Does anyone know what time the game starts?
