I didn’t punctuate my question correctly. I meant: “What are those round things on the stone facades…..windows? Wreaths? Heraldry?”
Did not know that a cricket can mean “(on a sloping roof) a small roof for diverting rain water around an obstruction, as a chimney.” But I wasn’t asking about those awning looking things over the windows. I just didn’t punctuate my question correctly.
….but I still don’t know what those circle things that look like wreaths are. Are they something structural or something decorative or just a little bit of artistic license in the sketches.
The Central Office is pretty insistent that they are indeed able to hit the target opening date. I do hope construction goes smoothly. We want it done: right, inexpensively, and fast. In practice, you can usually only get two.
With the other major additions in the last five years, e.g. to Clairemont and Winnona Park, they were remarkably fast and on-time. I was surprised because home renovations don’t go like that. I guess a big job like a whole school gets a priority by a construction company that mere home renovation does not.

More happy news so no comments? BTW, are those round things on the stone facades of the building windows? Decorative wreaths? Heraldic shields?

“Crickets” just indicates that there is silence on an issue. Or a joke.
Oh. (foolish silence)

my guess for the “wreath”– fancy school seal with latin motto.
Somebody please tell me we’re still on target for opening for the 2011-2012 school year.
The DNO link states at the meeting, the school is on track to open August 2011.
