Flash-flood warnings cover most of the metro area until 2:45p this afternoon. Decatur’s Code Red Weather Alert just issued a flood warning.
Up to 4 inches of rain is expected.
Roads are flooded. My basement is flooding more than usual. My feet are wet.

My 2.5 mile communte took a lot longer than usual today due to flooded roads. I feel for those folks who have a long commute- I would have had to stay home in bed…
What is it about the selection of CSD school sites back in the day that they are all, except College Heights (hmmm, hence the name I guess) below sea level when it rains? I felt like I was in the middle of the spiral of a drain going in and out of schools this morning.
