Bailey writes in with details about the Decatur Booster Club’s Spring Sports Fest and Fundraiser in March.

We believe all kids should get a chance to play sports even if they can’t afford it.  All the proceeds go to the Decatur Booster club to support our athletes.   This event will be at the Church of the Epiphany, March 21st at 7pm.  Tickets $20 in advance $25 at the door.  Free jambalaya, red beans and rice, great band, dancing.

Sounds like he enjoyed the entrees more than the appetizers, and just being in Decatur more than anything else.

Can’t argue with him on that last point.

A woman’s body was found on the East/West line near East Lake Station last night around 8:10p.  Apparently, its still unclear whether the woman found on the tracks was hit by the train or not.
