Need Beer Festival Tix? It'll Cost Ya.

Over the past few days, I’ve noticed a sizable uptick in the number of folks clicking over to look for Beer Festival tickets on the TicketAlternative site.  Undoubtedly, seconds after leaving the safe confines of Decatur Metro, their dreams of being sloppy-drunk on the Square in the early afternoon come crashing down when they learn what I’ve already stated…the event is sold out.

What’s a beer-loving procrastinator with lots of disposable-income to do?  Well heck, that’s easy!  Just hop on over to Craigslist and offer to pay double the face value for a single ticket!

    That’s awesome. We are planning on going, but if something comes up I will totally sell our tickets (and then spend the profits in one of our Decatur stores).

    It would be awesome if I weren’t one of the poor souls scavenging the secondary market for these tickets. How do I know that these resold tickets aren’t just copies that don’t work at the gate?
