New Additions to the ‘Yellowstone’ Universe
The upcoming ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff, ‘Y: Marshals’, has completed its casting with several actors from the original series on the Paramount Network returning, according to TVLine. This expansion of the ‘Yellowstone’ universe continues to draw from its rich pool of characters and settings.

Combining his cowboy background and Navy SEAL training, Kayce is tasked with delivering justice across Montana. Alongside his team, he faces the challenging task of balancing family responsibilities, their duties, and the psychological toll of being the region’s defense against escalating violence. The official logline of the show provides a glimpse into the high-stakes environment that the characters will navigate.
Logan Marshall Green will also join the cast as Pete Calvin, a friend from Kayce’s military days, further exploring the lead character’s past and the bonds formed during his service.
Expanding the ‘Yellowstone’ Franchise
‘Y: Marshals’ is just one of many projects expanding the ‘Yellowstone’ franchise. Paramount+ is developing other related series including ‘1944’, which follows ‘1883’ and ‘1923’, and ‘The Madison’, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, and Patrick J. Adams. Furthermore, the platform will host ‘The Dutton Ranch’, a Beth/Rip-centric spinoff which recently cast Annette Bening.
The anticipation builds as ‘Y: Marshals’ is slated for a premiere on CBS in early 2026. Audience engagement and excitement are expected to be high, with viewers eager to see how the new series will intertwine with the established ‘Yellowstone’ narrative.
