The Pennsylvania native has teased the upcoming release of her twelfth album on Travis Kelce’s podcast, along with a Spotify playlist while fans await further details.
The wait is finally over. More than a year after the release of The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift has announced the name of her twelfth studio album. True to form, she revealed it with flair, dropping various hints for her fans. A countdown appeared on her official website, which ended at twelve minutes past midnight on August 12th. However, that was all the hinting she did, and it was during a segment on the “New Heights” podcast, hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce—her partner—that the singer, as a guest, revealed The Life Of A Showgirl as the title of her forthcoming album.

For more details, fans will need to wait a bit longer. The album cover has been blurred out on her website, where it’s already available for pre-order. The tracklist and release date are still under wraps. The only clue available is an official playlist titled “And, baby, that’s show business for you,” featuring several of her songs produced by Max Martin and Shellback, but notably none by Jack Antonoff, her longtime producer and collaborator. Could this signify a new direction? Fans will need to keep their eyes peeled for any further clues!
