Tim Robinson’s HBO Comedy The Chair Company Sets October Premiere — Plus, See First Photos

Tim Robinson’s new comedy series, The Chair Company, co-created with Zach Kanin, is set to premiere on HBO on Sunday, October 12 at 10/9c, according to TVLine. The show will consist of eight episodes, airing weekly and concluding with the season finale on Sunday, November 30. Additionally, it will be available for streaming on HBO Max.

The series follows a man, portrayed by Robinson, who goes by the name William Ronald Trosper. He finds himself embroiled in a vast conspiracy following a humiliating mishap at his workplace.

Joining Robinson in the main cast are Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Will Price as Seth Trosper, and Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini. Lou Diamond Phillips appears in a recurring role as Jeff Levjman.

The Chair Company boasts a strong production team with Robinson and Kanin serving as executive producers alongside Adam McKay, Todd Schulman, Andrew DeYoung, and Igor Srubshchik. The series is directed by DeYoung and Aaron Schimberg.

In related news, HBO is also gearing up for the premiere of I Love LA, created and starred in by Rachel Sennott, which is set to debut on Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 pm. This series, also featuring eight episodes, explores the lives and romantic entanglements of an ambitious group of friends in Los Angeles.
