New Supernatural Comedy Series Coming to CBS
CBS is set to expand its supernatural comedy offerings with a new series from the creators of Ghosts.
The network has greenlit a pilot for a single-camera comedy called Eternally Yours, which will explore the lives of a vampire couple and their daughter. The show is being developed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the duo who previously adapted the UK series Ghosts for an American audience. They will also take on the roles of writers and executive producers for the new project. Joining them as executive producers will be Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang.
According to its official synopsis, Eternally Yours will delve into the centuries-long romance of two vampires who have been united in matrimony for 500 years. The plot thickens as they confront the challenges of accepting their daughter’s human boyfriend. The development phase for this project began earlier in the year and has recently concluded.

Joe Port and Joe Wiseman are also the showrunners for the American version of Ghosts, which debuted on CBS in 2021. The series follows a young couple who move into an old mansion only to find it’s haunted by former residents. The show has been successful enough to be renewed for a fifth season, which is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 8:30/7:30c, right after the Young Sheldon spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. CBS has released its full fall premiere schedule available on their website.
With the success of Ghosts and the intriguing premise of Eternally Yours, CBS is aiming to capture the audience’s interest in supernatural comedies that blend elements of humor with the paranormal.
