Netflix has officially renewed the “Leanne Morgan” sitcom for a second season, according to TVLine.
This announcement arrives just over a month following the debut of the show’s initial season, which featured 16 episodes and was made available in full on July 31.

About the Show
The 30-minute comedy series, co-created by Morgan with Lorre and Susan McMartin (known for “Mom” and “Two and a Half Men”), features the stand-up comedian as herself. In the series, “Leanne’s life is thrown into disarray when her husband of 33 years (played by Ryan Stiles of ‘Two and a Half Men’) suddenly leaves her for another woman,” according to the official description. With the support of her family, including her loyal sister Carol (played by Kristen Johnston from ‘Mom’), Leanne navigates through the upheaval, discovering strength, laughter, and hope in the most unexpected places.” The first season received an “A-” average rating from TVLine readers.
Details on the number of episodes for Season 2 or the release schedule have not yet been disclosed, but TVLine promises to provide updates as new information becomes available.
