Amendment One on the November 6 Ballot:“Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended to allow state or local approval of public charter schools upon the request of local communities?” Vote “Yes” or “No”Links to websites and articles about Amendment One can be found here:http://www.csdecatur.net/Charter-Schools/

This is a pretty shameless pitch since I obviously have strong feelings about the amendment, but I hope all interested CSD parents and Decatur taxpayers come out tonight to hear the discussion. The ballot language in no way addresses what’s at stake. Early voting started today, so before you vote, learn more about Amendment #1.
This is at the Westchester location, yes?
Yes. Thanks for pointing that out. The event is at Westchester tonight.
The Information Session will be held at Westchester in the Board Room at 6:30pm.
I’ll chime in to agree with Margaret on one thing – hoping that all interested parents and taxpayers come out and get educated on the issue and hear the discussion. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
So how did it go?
