    Pete the Cat Goes Missing

    Decatur Metro | June 18, 2011

    Kris writes in…

Oh no! Pete the Cat is missing. My son and I were enjoying some Yogurt Tap yogurt and we noticed . . . Pete is gone!  Please contact the Chief of Police and the Mayor – we HAVE to find him! Put out an APB!

I can already hear Daren’s mind cranking.  “For the Book Festival, we ask James Dean to paint green boxes one at a time all over the city…”

Pete the Cat is in New Orleans. Saw a place down there in the French Quarter on Royal Street selling those stickers, no joke.

Actually, Pete has quite a presence in New Orleans. We’re down there once a year. In addition to the gallery you mention (Robin’s Gallery on Royal St.), there’s a jewelry store right near Jackson Square that has an EXTENSIVE collection of Pete originals for sale. Forget the name.
