See Decatur’s brightest and freshest stars at Decatur Idol! Plus, it’s a fund-raiser for your DHS band!

The competition will be held next Monday, May 16, at the DHS Performing Arts Center, and will feature 10 performances by Renfroe and Decatur High students. Tickets are $5 students, $10 adults, and children under age 6 get in free if they are accompanying their parents. Event begins at 7 p.m. Listen to in-the-know musicians judge the acts, then vote for your favorite!

As any good Atlanta transit wonk knows, the Clifton Cooridor looks to release Emory and CDC employees and students alike from the daily shackles of a commute to and from one of Atlanta’s largest employers along residential roads.

The Clifton Cooridor Transportation Management Association is still reviewing a few ways and routes of connecting Emory to the Lindbergh MARTA station, but here’s the basic idea.
