Dog Missing, May Have Been Hit By Car

This morning my dog, Clara, went outside around 6:45 and didn’t come back when I called. At 7:15 a neighbor heard me calling her and said she thinks she heard a dog get hit on our street. I live on Oakview Rd not far from the intersection with S. McDonough St. Clara is about 50 lbs, and she’s black and tan. She’s also spayed. She should have on a collar with my address and telephone numbers.
I’m hoping someone took her to a neighborhood vet.

at about 6:50a I heard a car screech and the sound of an injured animal. I was in the middle of getting ready and looked out my second story window. I could not see what type of animal it was but there was a white Lincoln stopped in front of my house on the 500 block of Oakview. The driver did not get out and eventually drove away. I could not see an animal (still pretty dark) but then could see 2 women jogging across the street. They said, oh it’s been hit, but it looks ok. Again, I couldnt see anything. Got dressed and went outside around 7:10 but couldn’t find anything . The dog probably went down by the creek across the street from my house and I would recomend they check along the creek or on West Davis. I have worked from home today and have gone out a few times to look but did not see anything.
