My understanding is that he’s been expressly told to keep away from BSP. He used to be paid by Glen at Sweet Melissa’s to keep the back area clean, but I am not sure if that function is still taking place. I am glad he is putting his vocal cords to use, as I’ve often seen him running people off from E Court Sq and Church St businesses with his very powerful voice. I have found it difficult to have a conversation at Javamonkey when he’s even talking nearby. I know he means well, so it’s good to see him putting his talents to good use.
He’s only loud when intoxicated. He’s totally obnoxious when drunk. When he is sober, he’s pretty cool.
Great news! It’s wonderful to read of Red’s success. As far as the “he’s drunk and obnoxious” brigade, Red’s a blues man: Addled with demons, kind, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s got a little too much personality for most, but I believe the square’s better off for his presence.
Blues guys are the way they are. Billy Wall is “the man” for street level blues. As for “Carl” check yourself before you start on somebody else. Walk a mile brother. NK
