    Oakhurst Wine Crawl 2008

    Decatur Metro | February 19, 2008

Combining my two favorite things: drinking wine and crawling around on the sidewalks of Oakhurst.

    From Oakhurstga.com

The 6th Annual Oakhurst Wine Tasting is set to take place on Saturday February 23rd from 4pm to 7pm in the Oakhurst Villiage.

The event is a celebration of the Oakhurst community and will feature wines from around the world as selected by two local Oakhurst residents. Attendees will visit all participating local Oakhurst businesses each featuring a different wine selection to taste.

Tickets will go on sale starting Saturday, January 26th at local Oakhurst businesses for a cost of $20 per ticket.

    Businesses selling tickets include:

    • Steinbeck’s
    • The Universal Joint
    • Kavarna Cafe
    • Tajma-Hound

The event sells out annually, so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance so you’re not left out in the cold. Tickets will be availabe at the door the day of the event for cost of $25 per ticket. Cash Only.

The Wine Crawl is one of numerous events the Oakhurst Neighbor Association and the business of Oakhurst partner together on to enhance our community. Proceeds from the event will used to support volunteer efforts in the community including MLK Volunteer Day, needs for senior citizens and materials for our local schools.
