Who Should Watson Save: Adams or Stephens? Heading Into Finale, We Make the Cast Choose

In the latest episode of the CBS show, Moriarty’s malicious interference in Watson‘s laboratory resulted in serious consequences, putting two lives at stake by the end of Episode 12 — just before the season’s final episode this coming Sunday at 9/8c. The episode concluded with the Croft twins, Stephens and Adams, both researchers, succumbing to comas due to a virus cleverly manipulated by Watson’s arch-enemy.

Adding further to the disaster, Moriarty’s schemes also led to a shortage of crucial components needed to produce an experimental serum in sufficient quantities for both brothers (courtesy of Ingrid’s actions!). Consequently, by the end of the episode, Watson faced the challenging decision of potentially saving only one of the Croft brothers with the limited amount of medicine available.

In a provocative twist, TVLine’s Dave Nemetz this week pressed the show’s cast members to choose which brother they would save if given the chance.

“Given my undeniable feelings for Stephens, I’d save him without a second thought,” admitted Inga Schlingmann, who portrays Sasha, candidly. The pair’s tender moment in the previous episode certainly made her bias understandable.

On the flip side, Eve Harlow, portraying Ingrid, humorously commented, “I’d go with Adams, largely because I’m based in Los Angeles and I’m quite into that sort of new-age stuff.”

On a brighter note: As exclusively revealed by TVLine in April, the Season 1 finale will see the introduction of Tika Sumpter (The Haves and the Have Nots, One Life to Live) playing Laila, a pediatric oncologist who will capture Watson’s attention.

However, the situation with the Crofts remains a pressing concern. To hear what Ritchie Coster, who plays Shinwell, and Peter Mark Kendall, who portrays both afflicted brothers, have to say about the dilemma, press PLAY on the video above.
