When attempting to curry favor with the President of the United States, it’s crucial not to overlook one thing: always bring a towel.
In a recent episode of South Park, the popular yet often inebriated towel character, Towelie, made a comeback. He assisted Randy in revamping his cannabis enterprise by incorporating artificial intelligence and ketamine, and eventually made their way to Washington D.C. to mingle with President Donald Trump. Unfortunately, Towelie’s experience in the capital turned out to be quite challenging.
The storyline begins with Randy getting upset after ICE agents arrive and detain the workers at his cannabis farm, Tegridy Farms. Concerned about the future of the farm, Randy considers shutting it down, much to the indifference of his wife Sharon, who prefers the idea of moving back into a regular house. Feeling betrayed, Randy turns to ChatGPT for advice, believing it to be the “smartest person in the world.”

ChatGPT proposes to “rethink new business strategies” for Randy and his sole remaining employee, Towelie, who is found typically testing the product in the barn. Randy is thrilled with the new business ideas from ChatGPT, claiming it makes them smarter. However, he also believes they need a creativity boost, which he decides to achieve through microdosing ketamine via nasal spray, despite Towelie’s reminder that it’s used as a horse tranquilizer.
They transform the cannabis farm into Techridy, branding it as an “A.I. powered marijuana platform for global solutions.” Although Randy occasionally finds the ketamine overwhelming, he pushes on. Sharon, however, is annoyed by ChatGPT as she feels it only encourages Randy’s impractical ideas, calling the AI a “sycophant.”
In Washington D.C., CEOs and global leaders queue to flatter President Trump, presenting him with gifts and outlandish compliments. Meanwhile, Trump appears pleased, accepting the gifts and taking them to his bedroom, shared with Satan, who is desperate to escape their toxic relationship.
Back on the farm, Randy and Towelie break into an ICE facility to rescue the “one Mexican” needed for their plan, navigating obstacles with the help of ChatGPT. During this time, Sharon also consults ChatGPT and is convinced even absurd ideas like turning French fries into salad are viable. Randy soon realizes that making Techridy profitable hinges on changing the federal classification of marijuana to expand their customer base. Thus, he sends Towelie to Washington D.C. to persuade Trump, where Towelie finds the city heavily militarized and the Lincoln Memorial modified to feature Trump with less than flattering modifications.
After a long wait, Towelie meets Trump, compliments his intelligence, and presents him with a holographic message from Randy, which proposes the reclassification of marijuana in exchange for… Towelie himself! Meanwhile, back at the farm, Randy is caught in a K-hole, and Sharon cleverly uses ChatGPT’s affirming style to convince him to sell the farm and give up his phone. As they prepare to leave and Randy recovers, he realizes he has no recollection of what happened to Towelie. It’s soon revealed that Towelie is trapped, serving as a container for the President’s romantic exploits, with Satan sorrowfully informing him that escape is impossible.
