Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s Love Story Unfolds
It seems fate has beautifully scripted a real-life romance for Erin Krakow and her fellow actor Ben Rosenbaum. Krakow, who not only stars as the beloved Elizabeth Thornton nee Thatcher in Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart but also plays a pivotal role as an executive producer, has recently exchanged vows with Rosenbaum. He has been portraying the resourceful Mike Hickam of Coal Valley since the show’s inception.
The couple took to Instagram to share their joy with two snapshots—one featuring a tender kiss and the other a formal pose. These intimate moments were symbolically captioned with an infinity sign, eloquently expressing their everlasting love.

Their marriage announcement was met with an outpour of affection and congratulatory messages from their WCTH co-stars and celebrities alike. Andrea Brooks, who plays Faith on the show, exclaimed, “Spectacular,” while Kayla Wallace, portraying Fiona, commented, “I’m still crying. My favourite pairing!” The well-wishes didn’t stop there; they also came from Marcus Rosner (Charles Kensington), Kevin McGarry (Nathan), Kavan Smith (Leland), and Miranda MacDougall (Edie) from WCTH, as well as stars from When Hope Calls like Morgan Kohan. Other notable figures such as Nicole Beharie, Tyler Hines, Holly Robinson Peete, Ryan McPartlin, Nancy Travis, Jacklyn Collier, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Morgan Kohan also shared their joy for the newlyweds.

The continuation of When Calls the Heart was confirmed with the show being renewed for a 13th season this past March, set to commence filming in July, though a premiere date remains up in the air.
Reflecting on the show’s success and its passionate fanbase, Samantha DiPippo, Hallmark Media SVP of Programming, remarked, “Hearties are far more than a fan-base—they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley.” She added, “It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond.”
