The cat you see in the attached picture is called Waylon. He and his “brother”, called Smoke, have been hanging out on our back porch for some days now, and appeared a bit thin and ravenously hungry at first. The phone number on their tags is a 229 (southwest georgia), but is disconnected.

They’re extremely friendly — I just woke up this morning to find that Waylon had snuck into the house last night, and was lying on his back with his paws in the air next to me, begging to be pet. If they’re yours, or you know anyone who might be looking for them, please let us know. They seem unlikely to stray far from our house.
