After serving about 16 lbs of Corned Beef at our house one day early on Saturday, we went anti-Irish on St. Pat’s day itself and thoroughly enjoyed Chai Pani. It will definitely become part of our regular rotation.
So you had a “Sure and Pakora” St. Paddy’s day?
Apologies. Decatur Squared link has been fixed!
That’s not a ghost, that’s a frightened PacMan!
Dr B -They seem to be callings themselves ghosts …. If that’s what they wish to be known as, who am I to argue?

Given their appearance on USPS Priority Mail labels, are they perhaps pre-lamenting the loss of Saturday delivery?
As a child of the 80s, I have to say that I always called them ghosts. They are the monsters that are trying to deflate PacMan. You are right that this one is a scared one, but I’m still going to go with it is a scared ghost.
I’m pretty sure those ghosts are the work of an 8th grader from RMS. He is very talented!
They’re already making terrible wine in places like North Carolina, Georgia, New York, and God knows where else. Isn’t that enough? I find it difficult to believe that any part of NJ, which has been settled far longer than California, is perfect for growing grapes, and no one noticed it until now.
It was hard to tell because of all the smog, oil refineries, and turnpikes.
Seriously, New Jersey IS the “Garden State”, ironic as that may be. It has parts that are pretty pastoral. Why they never noticed the grape producing capacity, I don’t know. I do know that my great-grandmother and great-aunts in fairly urbanStamford, Connecticut had a teeny vineyard in their backyard. I only remember them making jam, but who knows……..
