UPDATE: OK, folks.  We tried out our new home but the server load was much too high.  We’re moving it back to the old home and we’re going to diagnose the problems, before trying to move again.  In the meantime, feel free to resume commenting!

All right.  So I know everyone’s been putting up with how unacceptably crashy and slow DM has been lately.  And for that, I am very grateful!

But, with any luck, that all ends now!  At 1pm we’re moving the site to its new, more reliable home.  That should mean no more error messages, and no more refreshing over and over until you get through.

WillyC and I have been working diligently behind the scenes to get this all set up and hopefully we can pull this off without a hitch.  But for the next 20-30 minutes or so, we recommend you hold your comments or they could be lost in the move.

I was going to wait until tomorrow to do this, but I’ve been annoyed with how slow the site has been today (and every other day the past two weeks), so I just want to bite the bullet and improve the experience right now.  A small price to pay, right?
