Come on— somebody update us on Burnt Fork!!!

I’m imagining a perfect day sometime soon with lunch at BFB, then burning off with a group ride from Tri Your Best.

My own update– my hubby just called and learned that the soft opening is 11AM TOMORROW (Saturday) with limited menu!!

    Woo Hoo!

If you need to be caught up to speed on this new Decatur business, here’s our original post.

Exciting news! I’m a little BBQ’d out lately, what with the two great options of Community Q and Fox Bros. nearby and the recently opened and fantastic (Korean-influenced) Heirloom BBQ up by my office. So when I first saw this place going in I was a bit disappointed because, you know, ANOTHER BBQ joint. But the International aspect has me pretty intrigued and now I’m itching to try it.

so what kind of BBQ joint is this? What’s on the Menue?

We were the 1st at lunch today and it was delish!

The limited menu included a cuban, sweet-tater fries, kale, and spicy hushpuppies along with the usual BBQ standards. This will not be your typical BBQ joint. You’ll see lots of int’l influence.

They seemed to have their act together, too. Wine and beer was in place along with a very enthusiastic staff. It’s just 2 blocks from home so we’ll be back soon!

I was customer #8 today and had the Korean beef tacos with the kale on the side. Quite tasty.

Super nice folks. Really looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer.

Thanks for the buzz! We will be closed tomorrow to regroup! We were slammed tonight and I apologize for running out but that’s what a soft opening is for.
We will open on Monday at 11:00-10
