Andisheh sends in this pic of a beautiful pit bull found at 1041 Atlanta Avenue this morning.
According to Andy, Decatur’s Animal Control Officer fished her out of the bushes around 10:30am. I assume that means she was taken to the DeKalb County Animal Shelter?

Oh, heavens– the poor sweet thing! Pray she gets rescued ASAP!
Pit bulls usually do not get rescued from animal control. they are not adoptable to the public, only licensed rescue groups. there are so so many of them there. it’s very sad.
Careful, now, that’s not a pure pit. But calling her that is close to a death sentence. I hope she’s found by her family.
