Decatur Neighborhood Caroling This Sunday
Decatur Metro | December 17, 2009Diane sends in info about some good ol’ caroling going on this Sunday night…
If you sing like a do-do bird, or a canary,
Join us on Sunday and help us make merry.
We’ll start out like angels and go through the ‘hood,
then gather and drink and eat something good.
What: Neighborhood Caroling
When: Sunday, 12/20, 7:00pm
Where: 143 Adair St.
We’ll supply: song sheets, brownies, hot and cold soft drinks.
You bring: yourself and anything else you want such as voices, instruments, wine.
Hot soft drinks?
Hey, our neighborhood is called Lenox Place, and we’ve been caroling for several years.
We pass out song sheets and have a good time.
If you live in the neighborhood, email me and we’ll stop at your house.
And technically, “soft drinks” refers to beverages that do not contain alcohol. Generally we think of them as cold carbonated beverages, but they can be lemonade, fruit punch, etc. Doesn’t usually include coffee and tea or milk drinks. Main thing is the alcohol.
Looking forward to hearing those lovely voices raised in song this Sunday!
Hi there! My name is Briana. I live on Adair and have never carolled (sp?) before. I am super excited! Here we come a-wassailing!
