“Wee” Kirk Road Open To Local Traffic Only Starting Wednesday

Just wanted to let you know many of us in WP received notices in our mailboxes that the narrow portion of Kirk Road ("wee" Kirk), which is the section between South Candler and Avery, will be open to local traffic only from 11/18 through 12/17. Atlanta Paving and Concrete Construction will be paving the road.
The important part of the note – no vehicles can be parked on the street during daylight hours, or they will be towed.

And when the paving is finished all those people cutting through the neighborhood will be able to really get going–maybe up 45 or 50 mph.
I wonder if we can get them to throw down some speed humps on Mimosa….
I had a couple fillings come loose driving on that stretch last night. Course, I was going 45 MPH on my way to Naaman’s house.
Serves you right. I hope they put in new speed humps every ten feet.
