Well done. Very quick and easy process dumping off my stuff Saturday.

Yes. I love our Electronics Recycling Day. It’s always very well handled. Dumped off the old Dell with its huge, prehistoric CRT monitor, printer, and other accouterments, huge bag of styrofoam and styrofoam peanuts, dead Christmas light strings, and some other stuff.

Don’t forget about the trash amnesty day coming up as well.

Does anyone happen to know if there’s such a thing as a hazardous waste collection day? BTW, that sounds worse that it is – I’m thinking old paint, as opposed to my collection radioactive stuff!

I agree! The recycling day is efficient and effective. Nice seeing the kids out there volunteering too. Makes me proud(er) of my community.

Generally, they will collect paint it you dry it out with kitty litter and leave the cans uncovered to show that.

I wouldn’t have thought of emptying the unused paint into my neighbor’s cat’s litter box. Just kidding; thanks for the suggestion, Steve.
