With all the recent talk about police response and potential annexation, along with the recent Fellini’s robbery, I’d say its high time that the citizenry (myself included) get more involved  in helping the city find qualified cops to fill its open roster.

The city isn’t sitting on its laurals.  Its produced this new recruitment video in an attempt to drum up interest.  But that video is only valuable if the right people see it.  So, if you know of someone with a background in law enforcement that subscribes to Decatur’s commitment to “enforcing a higher standard” then maybe its time to send them this video along with a link to http://www.decaturpolicejobs.com/
