Rats Infest Emory Dorm
Decatur Metro | March 7, 2008The university with the 23rd largest endowment per student in the country apparently can’t keep rats out of its student’s dorm rooms.
From the Emory Wheel…
Trimble Hall residents have been dealing with a rodent problem since the beginning of the semester. Residents have said they can not only hear the rats climbing through the building piping, but many have had the misfortune of having face-to-face confrontations with the rats. One of these resulted in a resident being bitten.
Eww…I mean, I know that rats are difficult to catch/kill, but come on! You have a $5 billion endowment!
Perhaps U.S. News and World Report will someday include a rat/endowment ratio in their annual college ranker.
Did you see Mousehunt (1997)?

It’s not so easy.
The rats and mice will probably still be there after Emory is gone.
Actually, I’ve heard it’s a secret CDC study.
