    Decatur Touch-A-Truck is Saturday March 8th

    Heads up all. From Patti Garrett’s blog…

    Join Decatur Active Living on Saturday, March 8th from 10am -1pm for the annual Touch-a-Truck Event. The City of Decatur and DeKalb County dump trucks, fire trucks, tractors, police cars and motorcycles and many other types of vehicles will be on display.

    NEW! Decatur Active Living is celebrating National Nutrition Month at this annual event. When you come to Touch-A-Truck, join in the effort by bringing any canned or non-perishable food item.

    Decatur’s Touch-a-Truck Day March 3rd!!

    Another big event from Commissioner Patti Garrett’s blog.

    Join Decatur Active Living on Saturday, March 3rd from 10am until 1pm for the annual Touch-a-Truck Event. This fun community event gives children of all ages an opportunity to touch, explore and see their favorite trucks or equipment on wheels. The City of Decatur and DeKalb County dump trucks, fire trucks, tractors, police cars and motorcycles and many other types of vehicles will be on display.

    New this year: Ride your bicycle to the event. Decatur Police will be on hand to register your bicycle. In the event that it is lost or stolen, registration will aid in its safe return.

    In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 21. For more information, contact Cheryl Burnette 678-553-6541 or [email protected] Be sure to visit www.beactivedecatur.com for up to date information on all Active Living programs throughout the year.

    The event will be held in the Callaway Building parking lot, according to the City of Decatur’s website.

    Decatur Touch-A-Truck is this Saturday!

    After getting canceled due to weather last month, Touch-A-Truck day is finally here (again)!  From the Be Active Decatur blog…

    Join Decatur Active Living this coming Saturday, April 30 for the annual Touch A Truck event. This fun event gives children of all ages a chance to touch, explore and see their favorite truck or equipment on wheels. The City of Decatur and DeKalb County will have fire trucks, dump trucks, tractors, police cars, motorcycles and many other vehicles on display.

    The event will be held from 10 am until 1 pm in the Callaway Building Parking lot located at 120 West Trinity Place. Free parking is available in the DeKalb County Parking deck adjacent to the event. This event is offered free to the community.
