Drag Race Season 17 Finale Winner

The dramatic conclusion has arrived, my squirrelfriends.

The season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 dazzled audiences with its spectacular final lip sync battles, revealing interviews, and a special appearance by the legendary Liza Minnelli, a true icon of the LGBTQ+ community.

Let’s also celebrate this year’s Miss Congeniality! Chosen by her peers, Crystal Envy has claimed the title this season, joining the ranks of past winners like Sapphira Cristal and Xunami Muse, who were there to pass on the crown.

Moving to the heart of the competition: After individual performances by the four finalists — Jewels Sparkles, Lexi Love, Onya Nurve, and Sam Star — RuPaul declared that Onya and Jewels would advance to the ultimate lip sync challenge, consequently ending the journey for Lexi and Sam.

The final battle was set to the thrilling tune of “Abracadabra” by Lady Gaga. This song provided the perfect backdrop for a fierce duel, with both contenders giving their all in a gripping performance.

In the end, only one could claim the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar, and that queen is Onya Nurve, crowned by the previous season’s winner, Nymphia Wind.

What are your thoughts on Onya joining the illustrious Drag Race Hall of Fame? Were you rooting for another queen, or did the season conclude just as you had hoped? Share your opinions on the Season 17 winner in the comments below.
