Already introduced by the nostalgic It’s Amazing To Be Young, this expanded edition now includes a second new track, Before You I Just Forget, which echoes Skinty Fia, the band’s previous album, evoking its misty hues.
Nod to David Lynch
An intriguing aspect of the album is the reimagined version of the hit Starbuster which also captures our attention: recorded live in a more stripped-down version, the band incorporates an interpolation of In Heaven, the iconic song from the film Eraserhead, the first feature film by the late David Lynch. This gesture serves as a poetic, almost ghostly tribute to a filmmaker whose influence permeates the band’s aesthetic.
