Caroline Polachek Returns with a New Album: Discover What’s Next for the Artist!

The British band Caroline doubles the excitement with Caroline Polachek in the release of Tell Me I Never Knew That, while announcing their second album, Caroline 2, following the debut single Total Euphoria. This upcoming album is a follow-up to their self-titled debut, Caroline.

To kick off this new era, the group reached out to the avant-garde pop icon. The collaboration began from a message sent out into the blue once the song was initiated. Believing the melody was perfect for her, Caroline’s members sent the track to Caroline Polachek. Captivated by the offer and already a fan of the band’s work, the singer agreed to collaborate.

A Ballad with Queen Polachek

The track opens with an acoustic ballad where Polachek’s voice soars over trembling strings, soon joined by a complex mix of choirs and dynamic arrangements, a signature of the London-based band.

This song is the second preview from Caroline 2, recorded in the serene environment of Kent, continuing the sonic explorations of its predecessor. The album maintains a mastery of spatial awareness and tempo changes but with a clearer intent. “The first record was a compilation, this one is a statement,” Jasper Llewellyn, one of the band’s founders, stated in a press release.
