Days of Our Lives Snags Two-Season Renewal at Peacock, Keeping It Streaming Through 2028

Peacock has officially extended the run of Days of Our Lives, announcing renewals for both Season 62 and Season 63, as confirmed by TVLine.

The venerable soap opera, Days of Our Lives, a multiple Daytime Emmy Award winner, is in the running for another 13 awards this year. Categories include Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Writing and Directing Team for a Drama Series. Notable acting nominations include Eric Martsolf (as Brady Black), Greg Rikaart (as Leo Stark), Paul Telfer (as Xander Kiriakis), Blake Berris (as Everett Lynch), Linsey Godfrey (as Sarah Horton), Emily O’Brien (as Theresa Donovan), AnnaLynne McCord (as Cat Greene), and Ashley Puzemis (as Holly Jonas).

Originally broadcast on NBC from its debut in November 1965 until September 2022, the beloved daytime drama transitioned to Peacock, a move that has proven to be successful. According to viewer data from Peacock, Days of Our Lives has consistently been a top performer, frequently appearing in the top 15 entertainment shows, and often in the top five.

Currently, Days is one of only five daytime dramas still on the air. It shares this distinction with The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, both on CBS, General Hospital on ABC, and the new series Beyond the Gates, also on CBS.

New episodes of Days of Our Lives are available Monday through Friday on Peacock. Are you looking forward to enjoying (at least) two more seasons in the town of Salem? Share your thoughts and discuss everything related to Days of Our Lives in the comments below.
