Big Brother Recap: A Social Power Player Gets Shown the Front Door — Who Was Fifth Out?

What’s the deal with Angela? More like, what’s the deal with Morgan?!

Mickey’s close friend (or ex-friend? It’s hard to keep up) has been spending most of the week telling the current nominees how challenging these nominations have been. For her. Sure, two of her friends are on the chopping block, but hey, Morgan: You’re not the one getting evicted. Are any other viewers switching feeds when she starts her self-pity and repetitive talks? If only Katherine had decided to use that veto…

Unfortunately for Morgan, one of her allies did indeed leave the game on Thursday evening. While it’s undoubtedly tough for those inside the game, this is what Big Brother is all about!

So, what exactly has gone down over the last few days? Let’s dive into the details.

The Game Plan

No matter how you look at it, a major player is going home this week. Morgan hopes both Vince and Zach can remain, but Rachel’s new alliance with Keanu might swing a few votes his way to stay, provided he doesn’t secure his own safety in the BB Blockbuster. Mickey has set his sights on Zach, a sentiment echoed by Kelley, but a conversation with Ashley turns sour when she feels ignored. Ashley describes talking to Mickey like dealing with a “dictatorship.” Rachel concurs, noting a shift in Mickey’s demeanor since her time as HOH. Ouch!

Zach is visibly upset about his situation. It’s not the relentless egg puns getting to him, but the reality that if he remains on the block against Vince, he’s likely going out. It’s hard to criticize a man for showing emotion on TV—everyone should freely express their feelings. However, it’s frustrating that he has a special power that could have saved him, yet he chose not to use it. Yes, it would have cost him $10K, but staying in the game should be worth it, right? Now, he must face the consequences of his decision.

The BB Blockbuster

The competition called “Jumbo Gemstones” required players to maneuver large gemstones to match them with similarly colored posts (yellow, red, blue, and green). They had to carry one stone at a time without placing any on the ground.

Was this really a smart choice for a live competition, Big Brother? It seemed to drag on forever, but ultimately, Keanu, after being allowed to remove his second butt to compete (yes, really), ended up winning. The vote now stands between Zach and Vince.

The Vote

Mickey and Ashley cast their votes against Zach, while their ally Will, along with Rachel, choose to evict Vince. In the end, Zach is sent home with an 8-2 vote, leading to more tears.

Big Brother never ceases to surprise with its twists and emotional turns, proving again why it remains a staple for reality TV fans.
