While site traffic won’t be quite as lively today, this is a good topic leading into a holiday.  What were your favorite books of 2012?

And by “books”, I mean “a long written or printed literary composition”, not necessarily “a set of written sheets of skin or paper or tablets of wood or ivory.”

In case anyone else out there has a poorly hidden mountain of cardboard boxes in their basement (sustaina-what?), just a quick note to let you know that regular trash pickup for Monday AND Tuesday will be on Wednesday, December 26th.

That’s one heck of a long day for our hard-working sanitation workers, three days of trash pick up coupled with an extra ton of wrapping paper and boxes? Phew!

I wonder if there’s anything we can all do to lighten the load.  I’m sure David Junger wouldn’t mind an email from me today, right?
