    Church Street Blocked Off By Police

    Multiple reports of Church Street between Commerce and Ponce having been closed by police.

    Daren sent in this pic. Asking DPD for details.

    UPDATE: DPD said that a bomb threat was called into the parole office along this strip.

      The same thing happened yesterday afternoon around the AT&T building in Midtown, with 3rd St. blocked off and it looked like everyone had been evacuated from the building.

      From what I heard on the scanner, there was a bomb threat at the probation office, but the building has been checked and given the all clear as of a few minutes ago.

      why is the probation office even in the middle of town!!

      WHY is the probation office oven in the middle of town smack between churches schools etc….????

        Because the people on probation and parole live in the middle of town and it’s near MARTA.
