well, yeah, ergo the strollers–their little legs get tired.

Super yum. Great guac, tasty margaritas, and totally me gusta the frito-breaded fried avocado tacos. NOM-worthy and I am sure we’ll be back. BTW, there were lots of toddlers on the patio, none of them bothersome, and I am a childless DINK!

Hey parents eating at Big Tex – don’t forget to take some time to stop in at Blue Caboose before or after a meal – it’s an excellent children’s clothing consignment shop and I’d like to see it stick around and thrive. Support your local businesses! :)

I’m suddenly so much less enthusiastic about trying the place…

        Why?

As long as they go directly from stroller to chair and stay there and be quiet, it’s all good!

if only this happened all the time!!!!

There are plenty of aduls that I could say the same thing about.

Big Tex is pretty wide open with a large bar area. Plenty of stools at the bar and some bar tables. If you sat there and were somehow bothered by the presence of kids, I’d be shocked.

It lives up to its Cantina moniker.

We found food good but not special. Had tacos, chips and cheese, and sides. But seems like good spot for drinking, watching sports, and playing in back game room.
