      Can’t wait! My request is C’mon Eileen – party like it’s 1989!

Oh, Beth. You must be a real young ‘un. 1989? I remember that song being out in 1983. The music trivia geek in me also remembers that it was Number 1 in the US for one week, knocking off Billie Jean and being replaced the next week by Beat It…

I bet you don’t even know that KISS sang a song about you ;-)

:) Aw, no one’s called me a young ‘un in ages! But ’89 is when I started high school. And yes, I was aware that Kiss sings my song – I even have it on my new-fangled iPod!

I’m ready to party like it’s 1995 again. That meant Hootie and Dave Matthews, but for pure dance-ability, I’d request Tootsee Roll, This Is How We Do It and of course, Madonna never goes out of style. Can’t wait to see everybody dressed up tomorrow!

I’m in love with ATLredhead’s list.

More Prince More Prince More Prince! When Doves Cry and Kiss, for sure.
Some dancy Elton John, like Crocodile Rock.

I am so excited to have an excuse to wear this much blue eyeshadow.

Y’all bring your prom horror stories, you might be crowned King or Queen!!!!!

I’m a little late, but throw in …

What I Like about You (Romantics)
      Rock Lobster (B52s)
      Glamorous Life (Sheila E)
      Rock the Casbah (Clash)
Dance to the Music (Sly & the Family Stone)

Even though I’ll think of 20 more after hitting “submit,” I will use restraint. Glad to hear that everyone had a great time and raised funds for a good cause!
